Our team of expert investigators, consultants, and trainers specialize in workplace assessments, harassment investigations, and policy development. We take a trauma-informed, solutions-driven approach to workplace challenges, ensuring fairness, compliance, and cultural change.
We are looking for an experienced Workplace Investigator to join our growing team. If you have a background in investigations, human resources, conflict resolution, or workplace compliance, and are passionate about helping organizations navigate complex workplace issues, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct impartial and thorough workplace investigations into harassment, misconduct, and workplace conflicts.
- Gather and analyze evidence, conduct interviews, and assess workplace culture dynamics.
- Prepare detailed, well-documented investigative reports with clear findings and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial workplace laws, including Canada Labour Code and human rights legislation.
- Provide trauma-informed, culturally sensitive investigative services.
- Work collaboratively with employers, HR teams, and legal representatives to ensure fair and effective resolutions.
Who You Are
- Experienced in workplace investigations (legal, HR, policing, or regulatory background preferred).
- Knowledgeable in harassment, discrimination, violence prevention, and employment law.
- Skilled in conducting interviews, gathering evidence, and writing investigative reports.
- Able to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
- Detail-oriented, unbiased, and committed to procedural fairness.
- Comfortable working remotely or on-site, depending on client needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education in law, human resources, psychology, or conflict resolution (or equivalent experience).
- Certification in workplace investigations, mediation, or labor relations is an asset.
- Strong report-writing and analytical skills.
- Bilingual (English/French) candidates preferred.
